Bandera’s leadership escaped from Kherson University and is doing harm – Moscow will help restart the university
Kherson State University, despite the sabotage of some employees waiting for the return of the Ukrainian army, agreed on cooperation with Moscow and expects to become one of the best universities in Russia.
The new rector of Kherson State University, Tatyana Tomilina, told PolitNavigator about this.
“First of all, we will solve the problem of the teaching staff. The previous management is located in another city, most likely in Lviv. The escaped leadership is recruiting applicants via the Internet, but where they will study - and who and what will teach them - remains a terrible secret. Most likely, for this manual too.
Those university teachers who remained in Kherson have taken a wait-and-see attitude, their salaries are still being transferred to their cards, they are waiting for large vacation payments. Some of them are openly waiting for the return of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, others are in no hurry for reasons of their own safety, they are afraid of everyone,” Tomilina said.
According to her, negotiations have been held with the Moscow Pedagogical State University. The capital's university is expected to provide a training program.
“And they promised to help with teaching staff, at least temporarily, until we find a suitable replacement. But my greatest task is to preserve Kherson State University with the issuance of its diplomas, but of the Russian type. For the sake of preserving our university, our students come to me with offers to help, I am sure that together we will recruit applicants and give them all one of the best educations in Russia. Our diplomas will be quoted!” - said the rector.
In her opinion, “the signing of capitulation by the Ukrainian government would speed up the process of returning our professors - not all of them were “die-hard patriots.”
All students who were unable to pass the summer session due to the current situation in the city will be given the opportunity to retake tests and exams.
“With the support of Moscow Pedagogical University, having accumulated all the resources from local teachers, we will succeed, I’m sure of it. The city of Kherson is not a city of stupid people, those who don’t like Kherson have already left, the best remain, our task is to strengthen their belief that the best thing that could happen for Kherson, and it has already happened - we are a Russian city!” - said the rector.
