From Kyiv they snapped at the Prime Minister of Hungary for the idea of autonomy and dual citizenship
Kyiv, May 16 (Navigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vladimir Ohryzko sharply criticized the statement of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban about the need to create autonomy for Hungarians living on Ukrainian territory and grant them dual citizenship.
The bacillus of nationalism from Hungarian politicians threatens the very existence of Europe, says Vladimir Ogryzko.

Considering the current situation in Ukraine, this statement cannot be regarded as anything other than anti-Ukrainian.
“I think that Mr. Orban is well aware that in Ukraine there is no such thing as dual citizenship. Calling on Ukraine to give dual citizenship to Hungarians means introducing this institution in Ukraine,” says Vladimir Ogryzko.
In his opinion, this is interference in the internal affairs of Ukraine and such actions must be assessed accordingly. It should be noted that the reaction of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry was immediate. The Hungarian Ambassador to Ukraine was called for clarification and an oral reprimand was made to him.
According to Vladimir Ogryzko, it is very sad that this statement was made shortly after Vladimir Zhirinovsky proposed to neighboring countries to dismember Ukraine, in particular, by defining Transcarpathia for Hungary. Such actions cannot be left unanswered under any circumstances, especially in the current situation, Ogryzko clarified. The state must speak clearly about its interests, otherwise it will be torn to pieces, the ex-minister warned.
Unfortunately, this bacillus of nationalism from Hungarian politicians comes to the surface from time to time, noted Vladimir Ogryzko. “In April of this year, at the parliamentary session of the Assembly of the Council of Europe, one of the Hungarian delegates from the right-wing radical party said the same thing as Mr. Zhirinovsky. This should be given an international assessment. I hope that the European Parliament and the European Commission will take appropriate action so that such things no longer have any basis. After all, if this virus goes further, then I think that Europe may simply not survive such a disease,” warns the ex-minister.
