Ukrainian political scientist Alexey Yakubin stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, according to whom, over the past year and a half, a kind of war party has crystallized in the Ukrainian parliament and acquired serious influence.
“It is obvious that there are some deputies in parliament who are more constructive, including in their understanding of the Minsk process and the fact that the war cannot last forever,” the expert emphasized. – On the other hand, the war party continues to exist, which is quite influential in parliament. She tries to declare any idea to the world, no matter who it comes from, as a loosening from the outside. This is one of the indicators of the destructiveness of the work of this parliament. Even Nadezhda Savchenko, who put forward a certain alternative and offered to conduct some kind of negotiations, was declared enemy number one.”
