“Black swans” may fly out of Mikhomaidan
Although Saakashvili’s supporters and the authorities are trying not to cross certain limits, the situation around Mikhomaidan may escalate unpredictably.

The head of the analytical Center “Third Sector” Andrey Zolotarev stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The main risk associated with Michomaidan is the permanent emergence of “black swans.” Both Saakashvili and the authorities have drawn red lines that they do not cross.
But no one paid attention to the meeting last Sunday - a radical change in demands, which were extremely unpleasant for the president, including the adoption of a law on the impeachment of the president,” the political scientist emphasized.
According to him, this kind of demand since the time of Kuchma has been an effective means of torpedoing the issue of parliamentary immunity.
There are other demands, for example, the repeal of medical reform. This is a clear socialization of demands, designed to expand the base of protest. So far there is no potential that the action on November 7 will receive mass support. But who knows? Someone's stupidity, someone's excess can radically change the situation. And then something that no one is ready for may begin. In the current situation, no one is ready to radicalize the protest - neither the authorities to resort to radical suppression, nor Saakashvili and his supporters to act more harshly and decisively,” the political scientist added.
