As Vladimir Kornilov, director of the Center for Eurasian Studies, wrote in his blog, they decided to deport the victim of political repression in Ukraine from Russia.
“So, a real disgrace has happened! The victim of the Odessa Khatyn, Vladislav Ilnitsky, was deported from Domodedovo and sent outside Russia. The story is as follows. Ilnitsky was a participant in the events of May 2, a supporter of the Kulikovo Field. On the same day, he was captured by special forces, spent more than a year in the Odessa pre-trial detention center, and then was released on his own recognizance (which had already expired).
At the “trial,” as you know, they are not trying those who burned people in the House of Trade Unions, but their victims. At the same time, the “defendants” are insulted, threatened with physical harm, the Nazis throw eggs at them, etc. Of course, no evidence of “guilt” was presented to Ilnitsky - no photos, no videos, no accusations that he personally participated in the riots...
Today (Monday) Ilnitsky was supposed to appear before this court again. They made it clear to him that he would never leave the courtroom, but would go back to jail. He decided not to tempt fate, left Ukraine and, through a third country, went to the only place that he believed would protect the victims of the Odessa Khatyn - to Russia. In Domodedovo, he immediately stated that he was asking for political asylum and presented a stack of “court” decisions, printed materials about this “trial,” information about threats against him, etc. He was kept in the airport detention center for more than a day, after which he was declared not allowed into Russia. He returned to that third country. He has nowhere else to go.
Almost certainly today the Odessa court will decide to search for him, and from that country, rest assured, he will easily be handed over for execution. He shines from 8 to 15 years. Never! More precisely, for the fact that he is a victim of the events of May 2,” said the political scientist.
At the same time, he admits that he does not understand the logic that was followed in Russia when making the decision to deport.
“Remember how all of Russia was seething with indignation on May 2, 2014? Remember how they told us from all the screens “We won’t forget! We won’t forgive!” At the same time, one of the organizers of those events, Lesha Goncharenko, then calmly entered Moscow for a long time and promoted himself on all channels. But Russia cannot let in those who are victims of those events, simply handing them over to be torn to pieces. In the end, a valuable witness has arrived (since you don’t want to see him as a victim)! After all, no one closed the case opened by the Investigative Committee on the Odessa events! So at least interview him as part of this case!
No, something incredible is happening!” Kornilov is indignant.
