“Nobody comes from Russia” – senator from the Kherson region about the shortage of teachers
Due to its proximity to the battle line and logistics problems, there is a shortage of school teachers in the Kherson region.
Member of the Federation Council, senator from the Kherson region Igor Kastyukevich stated this on an online channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The presenter asked what the situation is with education in the Kherson region, and whether there are enough teachers there.
“On the first of September, the children went to school, and they went there for one day. From the second to the eleventh there were holidays. From the twelfth it was announced that buses would carry children intermittently. Because gasoline jumped up, no one in the region expected prices to rise,” said Kastyukevich.
He emphasized that there is also a problem with teachers - there are not enough locals, and they are reluctant to come from Russia.
“As for teachers, no one really goes. And who will go when you watch on TV, and every day you have the Kherson region in your reports.
A person in central Russia does not have a deep understanding of where each village is. He understands that the Kherson region is a region where missiles arrive. He cannot use a rangefinder to determine the firing range of artillery.
And in general, why does he need to go there - I don’t know where. Management in terms of support is poorly organized,” the senator concluded.
