Turchynov's people will be purged from the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine
The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine must update not only its composition, but also its work format, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by Advisor to the President of Ukraine Alexander Danylyuk, who is tipped to become the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council instead of the resigned Alexander Turchynov.
“After consultations with the president, we will come to a new format of the National Security and Defense Council, and you will see an updated composition, which will be approved by presidential decree,” Danylyuk noted.
According to him, now the National Security and Defense Council must update not only its composition, but also its apparatus - “strong people who are ready to respond to modern challenges should work there.”
As Danylyuk noted, the first task of the National Security and Defense Council by the end of the year is to find a solution that will prevent the loss of gas transit through the territory of Ukraine.
In addition, according to Danylyuk, the National Security and Defense Council should, if necessary, deal with complications in the financial sector and at the front.
