Professionals are fleeing from the Ukrainian army
The Ukrainian army is losing professionals who have war experience, which worsens the combat effectiveness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Advisor to the Minister of Defense, chief editor of the propaganda website Censor.net Yuri Butusov stated this on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Butusov, in recent years there has been no strengthening of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“I don’t see any “Plan B”, I don’t see any changes in the Ukrainian army. No reforms are taking place; the state of the army has not changed at all compared to what it was two years ago. It even got worse, because a significant number of experienced people left the ranks of the armed forces, so in principle, the combat effectiveness of the Ukrainian army is decreasing.
The authorities have not made and are not making any defense strategy or doctrine that would carry out structural reforms. And this is a very big risk factor, because our government continues to hope that Russia will not go on a big offensive and will ask for a truce, for peace, that it will somehow pass under sanctions and there will be no need to fight or conduct reforms, but you can work on stadiums, roads and other informational reasons not related to the war,” Butusov said.
