More than 700 bribe-takers were fired from the Ukrainian border service

This was stated by the Chairman of the State Border Guard Service Petr Tsigikal, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
“As part of the anti-corruption program, internal security units have been reformed and new forms of preventing corruption have been introduced. Thus, 742 people were dismissed for negative reasons, 31 of them with deprivation of military rank, 12 by court verdict. 10 people were brought to administrative responsibility, 26 people to criminal responsibility,” Tsigikal said during the annual board meeting.
