The famous Ukrainian politician and TV presenter Dmitry Gordon stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Even expensive specialists from private clinics are emigrating.
“I want to ask the acting Minister of Health Mrs. Suprun - can she name the exact number of doctors and medical workers who left for Poland last year alone?.. Today we are seeing a massive emigration of doctors and high-class surgeons to Poland. This happens because there they can earn money that they cannot earn here... If the heads of large clinics in Kyiv tell me that we have a big problem, our doctors, on whom everything rests, leave for Poland. They are shouting about it, sounding the alarm already, because this is a big problem. When it is difficult to find good masons, plasterers and painters, this is a very big problem, but if soon there is no one to treat us, then everyone will howl,” Gordon said.
