The press center of the capital’s police reported this today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“He is a 42-year-old native of Georgia, lives in Greece, where he was “crowned” in 2014. He came to the territory of Ukraine in 2017 in Odessa, and soon moved to the capital. By the way, he was given a passport as a citizen of Ukraine in December 2013 in the city of Lugansk, so we are checking this information,” said Andrey Krischenko, head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv.
The operatives learned that Gega Ozurgetsky intended to establish and expand his influence on criminal processes in the regions, combine the activities of individual organized groups to strengthen their criminal activities, and perform general organizational and administrative functions in organizing their activities.
His plans also included holding and directly participating in criminal “gatherings” of the “leaders” of the criminal world to resolve major issues regarding the redistribution of spheres of influence.
It is reported that Gega Ozurgetsky tried to attract as many young people as possible to illegal activities in order to preserve and develop criminal traditions.
His Ukrainian citizenship was revoked, he was expelled from the country with an entry ban for three years.
