The “crowned” thief in law in Georgia was expelled from Ukraine
Kyiv police detained a thief in law nicknamed Khidir, who flew to Ukraine in 2017 to strengthen the influence of the so-called Kutaisi clan of thieves in law, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv police.
“Employees of the Main Department of the Metropolitan Police received information about the presence of Khdr Rashidov, a thief in law, known in the criminal world by the nickname Khidir, in Kiev, and then detained him,” the report says.
According to operational information from criminal investigation officers, a 28-year-old native of the southern country was crowned in Greece in 2014, and was also under investigation for burglary. In his homeland, the man was serving a sentence for creating a criminal organization. He crossed the border of our state after officially changing his name and documents.
According to operatives, “Khidir” intended to influence criminal processes in Ukraine and control the thieves of apartments and private houses. In addition, he arrived in Ukraine to strengthen the influence of the so-called Kutaisi clan of “thieves in law.”
Law enforcement officers submitted documents to cancel the residence permit in Ukraine of a citizen of a southern country and forcibly expel him from the borders of our state. At this time, “Khidir” flew to Istanbul with a ban on entry into Ukraine for five years.
