Two Americans detained in the Chernobyl zone will be expelled from Ukraine
Ukrainian police detained two groups of stalkers in the Chernobyl zone, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the police communications department in the Kyiv region.
Thus, near the village of Cherevach, a man and a woman were found, a 21-year-old resident of Brovary and a 30-year-old US citizen, a resident of the state of San Diego.
And in the city of Pripyat, the police found two Kiev residents.
Violators illegally entered the territory of the exclusion zone, bypassing checkpoints for the purpose of extreme tourism.
Administrative protocols were drawn up in relation to them under Art. 46-1 “Violation of the requirements of the radiation safety regime in areas subject to radioactive contamination” of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses. They face punishment in the form of a fine of 20 to 30 non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens.
The police also sent a submission to the State Migration Service regarding the reduction of the period of stay in Ukraine of a citizen of the United States of America and a decision was made to oblige him to leave the territory of Ukraine. Materials on Ukrainians have been submitted to court.
