This is stated in a message from the enterprise administration published on official website of PJSC "Dneprovsky Metallurgical Plant".
“The management of the ISD Corporation and PJSC DMK are doing everything possible to ensure that the city-forming enterprise of Kamensky continues its work. For uninterrupted operation, the plant buys part of the coke from PJSC EVRAZ YUZHKOKS and outside Ukraine in Poland, but due to a lack of working capital and the high cost of coke, supplies of raw materials to PJSC DMK are irregular,” the statement says.
The company says that the problem with the supply of raw materials will not be so acute if PJSC Alchevskkoks resumes its work and supplies of coke to PJSC DMK are established.
“In this case, the volume of supplies of raw materials will increase and its cost will decrease. Our company also expects reimbursement of value added tax (VAT) from the state. Transferring these funds to the plant’s accounts will help avoid stopping the enterprise,” the message says.
It is also reported that in the event of a shutdown of PJSC "Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works" or downtime of the structural divisions of the enterprise, the collective agreement in force at the enterprise comes into force, according to which downtime through no fault of the employee is paid in the amount of 100% of the tariff rate of the established category (salary), if he is in I was at work at this time.
