The scandalous initiative of Ukrainian politician Anton Gerashchenko on the need to publicly publish personal data of Russian pilots in Syria may be fraught with serious consequences for Ukraine.

Director of the Ukrainian Politics Foundation Kost Bondarenko did not rule out such a development of events in a conversation with a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I think this will seriously help ISIS, because this information is naturally more interesting to the leaders of the Islamic State than to the leaders of the Syrian opposition,” the expert believes. – But by and large, this kind of bravado will not end well either for Ukraine or for those politicians who make such statements. At a minimum, they will no longer be taken seriously in the world, or, at maximum, they will be declared accomplices of terrorists.”
