According to the data received, 40% of Ukrainian citizens are not ready to get vaccinated against COVID-19 disease, even for free. At the same time, 55% of respondents are ready to get vaccinated if the drug is free. But only 35% of respondents want to get vaccinated for a fee. 57% of respondents will not take a paid vaccination.

These data shocked the editor of the RBC-Ukraine news agency, Sergei Shcherbina.

“I remind you that to achieve herd immunity it is necessary to vaccinate 75-80% of the population. Considering the possible initiatives of civilized countries to introduce immunity passports that have already been mentioned out loud and the statements of some airlines about the possibility of boarding a flight with a vaccination certificate, what do you think threatens this matter? That’s right, isolation,” the author noted.

He also drew attention to the survey data by age.

“But the most striking thing is that most of all opponents of either paid or free vaccination are in the age group of 30-39 years (63% and 52%, respectively). The 18-29 group is not far behind (54% and 50%). I would like to ask, how are you feeling in general, friends? Not in the covid sense, but in the head sense. At the same time, support for introducing a strict lockdown “like in the spring” increases sharply in the age groups 50-59 and 60+ (46% and 45%, respectively). So two loneliness met,” summarizes Shcherbina.

As PolitNavigator reported, in Kyiv, under the slogans “No to coercion! Stop!” mass protests began opponents of vaccination.
