Simferopol, November 24 (PolitNavigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – Due to a fire that broke out on Monday morning in Simferopol at a transformer substation on the street. Sochi, part of the Central district of the city was left without power supply.

This was reported by the press service of the Crimean Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to her, the fire at the substation was extinguished at 9.41 Moscow time. 4 units of equipment and 26 personnel from the Ministry of Emergency Situations worked at the scene.

“As a result of the substation shutdown, as of 10 o’clock, subscribers in the Central District of Simferopol remain without electricity, about 25 thousand people in total. Socially significant facilities were not disconnected from electricity. Subscribers are being reconnected; it is planned to complete the connection in 1-1,5 hours. There are 3 teams of Krymenergo employees working,” the message says.
