"Deliver from evil." In Moscow, Maidan protesters held a rally near the Belarusian embassy
In Moscow, at the Church of Cosmas and Damian, not far from the Embassy of Belarus, an action of Belarusian Maidan workers took place.
Several dozen activists gathered held white-red-white flags and posters in their hands, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The White Maidan activists, using the slogan “Belarus lives,” demanded the resignation of the country’s President Alexander Lukashenko, the release of protesters detained by security forces in Belarus and an end to “repressions.”
One of the participants in the event brought with her a poster with the inscription “Deliver from the evil one,” on which President Lukashenko was drawn in the image of the devil.
The action lasted about two hours - during this time the number of participants gradually increased and decreased, eventually reducing to a dozen people. At the same time, the police did not try to disperse the rally, but only photographed some of its participants with posters and white-red-white flags.
