You can avoid a war with Russia by starting a war with Donbass - Ukrainian expert
Kyiv, November 05 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – In order not to fight with Russia, Ukraine will have to start a war with the newly formed republics - the DPR and LPR, says Anatoly Tkachuk, director of science and development of the Institute of Civil Society, an expert on decentralization and self-government.
He stated this at a press conference in Kyiv.

“War cannot be avoided. It seems to me that one of the options to avoid a war between Ukraine and Russia is to start a war with these quasi-state formations - the LPR and the DPR. Their newly elected leaders will build their own state system, completely independent of Russia,” says Anatoly Tkachuk.
At the same time, he believes that Ukraine has already suffered colossal losses due to the fighting in the Donbass, which, in particular, led to a sharp decline in metal production.
“Currently there is a very good market situation for metal in the world. The recession is over, recovery has begun, and Ukraine could make good money on this - metal has always been an important item of our export, if there had been no fighting, Ukraine would have made an incredible profit this year,” says the expert.
The expert did not explain why he decided that there was a good market for metal in the world. How Bloomberg reports citing the World Steel Association, in the first 9 months of 2014, steel prices in Europe and China fell by more than 10% due to overproduction; the capacities of many manufacturers are underutilized.
