Miners who took part in a protest in the center of Kyiv were beaten
In the center of Kyiv, a fight broke out when the protesting miners, who came to a rally demanding payment of wages and against the closure of mines, tried to set up a tent near the building of the Ministry of Energy, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

First, the protesters drove a miner's trolley to the building, painted yellow-black with the inscription "Miner's Lustrator."
However, the passage to the ministry was closed by police officers, and unknown people in civilian clothes were also standing near the building.
The miners decided to set up a tent at the entrance to the ministry, but during this, one of the unknown men in civilian clothes standing near the building hit the miner, resulting in a fight.
According to the head of the Confederation of Free Trade Unions, Mikhail Volynets, the provocation at the entrance to the ministry was staged by “titushki” hired by the authorities, who tried to prevent the installation of the tent.
Despite this, they managed to set up the tent, after which a group of miners rolled the “lustrator” trolley onto the roadway of Khreshchatyk and rolled it back to Maidan Nezalezhnosti. The miners blocked the street and continued their protest at the Ministry of Energy.
“We will stand here until the minister arrives from the United States, put him in a trolley (“miner’s lustrator”) and take him to the president,” Mikhail Volynets told reporters.
