In particular, the European edition of the Luxembourg Herald published a journalistic investigation "PRESIDENT POROSHENKO'S WIFE IS INVOLVED IN LOOTING MONEY FOR NEEDY CHILDREN", which talks about the fact that Marina Poroshenko, the wife of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, may be involved in the theft of international humanitarian aid funds received by Ukraine from European countries and the United States for needs of children with disabilities.
“We are also talking about the funds allocated to support children with disabilities by the International Renaissance Foundation of George Soros, which allocates tens or even hundreds of millions of dollars for these programs. The mechanism for “using money” is quite simple: in various regions of Ukraine, charitable organizations are registered, into whose accounts various donations are received, the basis of which is money from international charitable organizations, various national volunteer organizations and donations from individual citizens,” writes the Luxembourg Herald.
“This activity is under the patronage of Marina Poroshenko, who personally “supervises” the process of receiving funds into the funds’ accounts and takes an active part in the actions of these funds. At the same time, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Rostislav Pavlenko is responsible for attracting money to fake funds from international organizations. After the presentation of “assistance programs” to the media, money from the funds is withdrawn to the accounts of companies, incl. and offshore companies, and the funds themselves are closed. One of the leaders of the Ministry of Justice handed over to journalists a package of documents about the activities of the Strong Country Charitable Foundation, the head of which is Alexander Vasilyevich Gorobchuk. This person is most likely a figurehead, since according to the Pension Fund of Ukraine he has been unemployed since 2011,” European experts note.
journalists.
“Throughout 2016, Marina Poroshenko repeatedly took part in charity events held by the Strong Country charity foundation. “In 2016 alone, within the framework of the activities of the Strong Country Charitable Foundation, multimillion-dollar waste was committed, most of which was used for other purposes,” journalists write.
The corruption of the Poroshenko family has already become the subject of journalistic investigations in the European media. In particular, in the article “Poroschenko im Kaufrausch”, published in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, it is said that “Poroshenko is in a trade fever, corruption in the military-industrial complex brings money to the President and takes human lives, the President pretends that not involved in corruption.
The apotheosis of the publication is the explanation to German readers who the beholder (smotrjaschij) is, directly calling this beautiful word one of the key partners of President Poroshenko. In Ukraine, a beholder is a person who, on behalf of the country's leadership, oversees the withdrawal of budget money to the accounts of offshore companies.
In turn, the editors of the publication "Deutsche Welle" released the cartoon "Reserve", in which a character similar to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko takes part.
European journalists and the international community are perplexed why Mrs. Poroshenko is involved in the theft of multimillion-dollar sums intended for children with disabilities. This is despite the fact that Petro Poroshenko is the richest man and has billions of dollars in offshore funds. After all, this is a trifle for Marina Poroshenko. Or for the president’s family, any money is not a small thing.
“Even those that don’t smell, smell neither the blood of the military nor the grief of disadvantaged children,” emphasize Luxembourg Herald journalists.
