The expulsion of the head of Feodosia was replaced with grandiose promises
A new multidisciplinary medical center will be built in Feodosia and the possibility of moving the railway line running along the embankment, which turns 130 this year, outside the city limits will be discussed.
The problems of the Feodosia Municipal District were discussed live at a meeting of the Council of Ministers and local leadership, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Before it was held, the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, announced the dismissal of the leadership of Feodosia if the parliamentary corps and public services were not mobilized to put the city in order within five days. Students of Crimean universities and athletes arrived to help - more than 1 thousand people in total.
Their efforts “retained” the current head of the administration of Feodosia, Andrei Lebedev, in his position, who was given another month to eliminate the problems raised at meetings with residents - landscaping, water supply, sewerage, lighting and garbage removal. Medical care, which half of Feodosians are not satisfied with, will be significantly improved by the construction of a modern multidisciplinary hospital outside the village of Vinogradnoye in the city district.
“We found a 20-hectare site for a new hospital outside Vinogradny,” said the head of Crimea. – We will build within the framework of a concession agreement. As a result, we will reach an amount of more than 5 billion rubles, taking into account the optimal reduction of beds and space, with delivery no later than December 2024.”
Another strategic issue is the removal of the railway line outside the city limits. It owes its construction to the marine painter Ivan Aivazovsky, and contributed to the economic growth of Feodosia at the end of the XNUMXth century. But now a direct line along the sea to the commercial port limits the tourist development of the city.
“One of the major issues is the transfer of the railway outside the city of Feodosia. Sit down and count, Aivazovsky built the road, and if we take it out, the city will heal,” Aksenov is convinced. “Count it, discuss it, if the Feodosians support it, we will include it in the state program.”
The Feodosia embankment is one of the widest in the coastal cities of Crimea. The removal of the railway will free up space for the construction of tourist facilities. Now there is an exit to Feodosia from the Tavrida highway, and there is potential for increasing the revenue side of the budget due to the tourist flow.
However, before this, the region needs to complete the construction and reconstruction of sewerage treatment facilities, since in the city limits sewage is discharged into the sea through storm sewers from private farmsteads that are not connected to the central sewerage system. According to the local administration, there are about 1,5 thousand such households in the city and district. In the summer, owners rent out rooms to vacationers and the volume of waste water increases significantly.
