Treason to the Motherland: How the main value of Ukraine is being handed over

How little time is needed to turn an absurd and even criminal idea into a vital one. Just a few years ago, talk of selling land in Ukraine was equated with treason.

Now the Ukrainian authorities have included a clause in the memorandum with the IMF on the need to adopt a law on the circulation of agricultural land.

It should be recalled that laws regulating possible sales were adopted back in the days of the “foreigners,” but at the same time moratoriums were introduced.

The moratoriums were not introduced for ethical or patriotic reasons. The oligarchs simply prepared the conditions and developed the rules of a new win-win game - how to do it cheaper and in the most limited circle. And in order to find ways to legalize significant amounts of agricultural land already privately owned, but not fully registered on legal grounds.

In this task, there are certain conflicting interests between large Ukrainian businesses and foreign corporations. For these reasons, the moratorium was once again extended by the Verkhovna Rada on October 6, 2016.

However, representatives of the “authorities”, who carry out the will of the IMF and at the same time never forget about their loved ones, do not have time to continue the moratorium on the sale of land. The feeling of an approaching grandiose ruse is becoming stronger and stronger. Therefore, you need to have time to sell and buy. And perhaps sell it again. Or rent it out.

The time has come, the masks have been dropped. To shape public opinion, “leading Ukrainian economists” came to the arena and issued a statement in support of the start of the sale of Ukrainian land. A character from the film “Kill the Dragon” said about such people: “These are not people. These are the best people in the city!

So, everything is the same in the arena. All the same ones who campaigned for “European integration,” deceiving the population and misleading those who make decisions. Those who call IMF loans “aid.” Those who introduced neoliberal theories into practice in Ukraine, and who now must bear responsibility for the impoverishment of the people on an equal basis with the current government.

In short, agitators for pseudo-reforms are summed up by scientific nonsense about “foreign experience”, which fits today’s Ukraine like a horse’s shoe to a toad.

Among the “leading economists”, such as former minister Sheremeta, deputy Pinzenek (who advocates the abolition of pensions, in favor of everyone saving for themselves) and others, were TV presenter Mykola Veresen and the leader of the rock group “Druha Rika” Valery Khartsyshyn.

In short, there is no place without activists now.

“Releasing the land into market circulation” (as they call the sale of Ukrainian black soil) does not imply concern for either the farmers, the land itself, or, especially, the population. However, it’s not a matter of the black soils themselves. In the case of Ukraine, with the current development of the chemical industry and genetic engineering, the geographical location of the land used, logistics and the ability to produce any GMO crap are important. What is prohibited in European countries is not only not prohibited in Ukraine, but is also encouraged and actively developed. Ukraine has been appointed as a producer of food for residents of the “fourth world” countries, and the Ukrainians themselves will be fed the same GMO food. At the same time, the process of population reduction will go faster.

The task is outrageously simple, in a few moves. Permission to sell will allow not only the purchase of land, but also transfer of it by farmers to banks as collateral for loans. A narrow circle of limited persons and, of course, “foreign investors” will be allowed to participate in the auctions.

During the transition period - from the beginning of the entry into force of the law on the sale of land, prices for agricultural products for the population may even decrease. On the one hand, to demonstrate the delights of the reforms of the “best of the Cabinets”. On the other hand, for the sake of the subsequent strangulation of farming in Ukraine, by offering dumping prices for imported products.

At this time, you can play with the refinancing rate. Trying to survive in the competition, the natives will fall into credit bondage. Farmers who have accumulated loans will no longer be able to pay off their debts. Local producers will not be able to withstand the price competition that large foreign corporations can afford. Mass seizure of land due to debts will begin.

For a short period of time, the owners of the land will not be farmers (after disintegration, only 5% of former collective farmers became farmers), but large latifundists and foreign corporations. Today, large owners own only 1/8 of Ukraine’s agricultural areas.

Farmers, at best, will turn into hired tenants. You can forget about competition. A narrow circle of owners does not imply competition and price reductions. And those who will work on what was once their land will no longer be able to say “product from the manufacturer.” Due to such an intermediary as a large land owner, the cost of products from a “domestic producer” will skyrocket. And import prices, after the destruction of competitors in the domestic market, will return to standard values.

And “leading economists of Ukraine” will tell a new tale about brilliant reforms and the impossibility of implementing them due to the machinations of an “external aggressor.”
