Treason under unclear circumstances - know-how of the Ukrainian prosecutor's office
The General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine initiates criminal cases that simply discredit the Ukrainian law enforcement system.
The director of the consulting company “Party of Power” Elena Dyachenko stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, commenting on the initiation of a criminal case against Verkhovna Rada deputy Andrei Artemenko, who proposed his peace plan, providing for the lease of Crimea to the Russian Federation.
She said she did not know whether the peace plan was a real initiative or merely a camouflage to “pass on dirt on the current president,” adding that it was surprising “the rapid speed with which the person holding the post of attorney general posted an excerpt from the register on Facebook pre-trial investigations, showing everyone that a criminal case has been opened against Artemenko under the article “Treason to the Motherland.”
“I would like to remind you that this article implies cooperation with foreign intelligence services and disclosure of state secrets. Yes, there are vague wordings like “and other cooperation,” but the wording of the excerpt sounds like this: under unclear circumstances, he entered into a conspiracy with the enemy, the Russian Federation, and wrote a plan, which he handed over to the American side. Quite a strange wording. In this way, the Prosecutor General’s Office is destroying trust in the law enforcement system,” Dyachenko summed up.
Let us recall that for the first time in Ukrainian history, the position of Prosecutor General was occupied by a person non-legal, and under Yuriy Lutsenko they even specifically changed the corresponding norm of legislation.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Lutsenko proposed to the Russian military led by Sergei Shoigu to voluntarily arrive in Kyiv to testify
