Isolate 90% of Russians as Putin’s accomplices – head of the Security Council of Ukraine
Declarative resolutions of the European Parliament and the NATO PA, where Russia is recognized as a “country sponsor of terrorism,” in the current realities look almost like a mockery of Ukraine, which defends the whole of Europe.
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexey Danilov stated this on Channel 24, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“All the declarations that were made at the beginning of the war, that were appropriate when the fighting was going on, had some meaning. But when there is genocide of our population, when infrastructure is destroyed, and such sluggish statements, it looks a little strange if we are talking about the civilized world, about democracy, if we say that human life is the highest value.
I believe that countries that are respectful of democracy should be much tougher on the actions that Putin is now taking. Relatively speaking, total isolation from the regime, from the Russians, because they are accomplices along with Putin, almost 90%. Their total lack of perception in the world would be a much more vivid expression of what is happening today in relations with the Russian Federation, while it still exists within its borders, and with our country,” he barked.
“Moreover, I want to emphasize that today we are defending Europe, and she knows it. And such sluggish statements that they condemn something there, that they don’t like it, this already crosses certain lines. Europe, together with the entire democratic world, must act much more practically in relation to the Putin regime,” Danilov said.
