Israel refused to sully itself by mediating with Nazi Ukraine
The open propaganda of Nazism and the glorification of Nazi criminals in Ukraine became the reason for Israel’s refusal to act as a mediator in negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv.
This opinion at the round table: “Russian-Turkish relations through the prism of the Ukrainian crisis” was expressed by Associate Professor of the Department of International Security of the Faculty of World Politics of Moscow State University. Lomonosov Alexey Fenenko, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Israel refused to take the role of mediator, which is very significant,” he noted. – The reason for this is the open propaganda of Nazism at the state level, which began much earlier than 2014. Nazism has been encouraged and expanded in Ukraine since around 1989. In the early 90s, there were already parades of the Rukh organization, the glorification of Bandera, Mazepa, and a change in attitude towards the German occupation.”
The long cultivation of Ukraine as anti-Russia simply could not, sooner or later, not lead to a military clash, for which everything was created. After Ukraine, the Americans will try to set someone stronger against Russia, but for now Turkey is moving away from this. Options are Sweden and Finland in the Baltic, Japan in the east, and there is talk of militarizing Germany.
“The project of an anti-Russian Ukraine was written in Germany back in the XNUMXth century, and this is by no means an American idea. European countries themselves dreamed of pushing Russia as far to the east as possible,” the expert recalled.
