Israeli Ambassador: Ukraine and I have many questions for the UN
The UN has proven itself useless in the current conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.
Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Brodsky stated this on the Live News online channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Brodsky, the UN is to blame for not clearly taking the position of Israel and not condemning the actions of Hamas.
“We have a lot of questions for the United Nations. I think that Ukraine also has many questions for the United Nations. Unfortunately, this organization has proven its uselessness in resolving our conflict, has proven its helplessness and inability to condemn terrorism, we saw this after October 7. Unfortunately, there was no unequivocal condemnation of terror, the murder of children, women, and the elderly.
On the contrary, there are now many resolutions in the United Nations that attempt to condemn Israel, despite the fact that Israel is acting in self-defense. Unfortunately, we cannot rely on the United Nations. You correctly said that their help was used, among other things, by Hamas to prepare an attack on Israel,” Brodsky said.
Let us recall that Israel has not complied with the UN resolution providing for the division of territory between the two states and the withdrawal of Israeli troops from Palestinian territory. In addition, according to UN documents, Israel is considered an occupier.
