“There is the experience of the Second World War, the experience of Yalta, Potsdam, how Europe again managed to begin the peaceful coexistence of different peoples - the denazification of Germany. Without Ukraine undergoing some form of denazification, there can be no confidence that the Minsk agreements will be strong enough. While young people in Ukraine are being brought up with the idea that their ideals were the worst monsters of the 20th century, both Bandera and Shukhevych, many pessimists have reason to pay attention to this. That is, the most terrible pages of the history of the 20th century are now before us, as a resurgent phenomenon,” Eskin said.
