Israeli TV: Parubiy, Pashinsky, Saakashvili involved in executions on Maidan
The Israeli Russian-language TV channel ILand aired an investigative documentary called “Square of Broken Hopes”, the characters of which claim that they were involved in executions on the Maidan, and among the coordinators of this provocation could have been the then leaders of the Maidan Sergei Pashinsky, Andrei Parubiy, Mikheil Saakashvili , as well as a number of other persons.

The director and scriptwriter of the film is the famous Israeli television journalist Anna Stefan, who works in Tel Aviv. The film aired on the channel on February 21 and was later published on the official YouTube channel ILand.
The authors of the film interviewed a number of Ukrainian politicians, in particular, people's deputies Sergei Pashinsky, Vladimir Parasyuk, Olga Bogomolets, as well as the head of the special investigation department of the Prosecutor General's Office Sergei Gorbatyuk and others. At the same time, the main characters of the film are three people of Georgian appearance, among of which Alexander Revazishvili, a participant in a previously sensational investigative film on the Italian Channel 5 about the events on the Maidan, Alexander Revazishvili. Two more characters - a certain Giorgi Bezhitashvili and Tsezari Bajalidze - had not previously appeared in the film by Italian correspondent Gian Mikalessin. The interview with three Georgians was recorded in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.
According to the characters of the film, the reason why they decided to disclose information about their participation in the executions of the Maidan to the media is the alleged death of six of their colleagues under mysterious circumstances, who, together with them, participated in the events of February 2014. Thus, the characters of the film allegedly intend to protect myself.
Thus, Bezhitashvili is presented in the story as a former major in the Georgian army, a participant in combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, who was previously the personal security guard of the ex-Minister of Defense of Georgia (under President Saakashvili) Georgiy Baramidze. The same hero of the film claims that in 2011-2013. served in a special company together with Saakashvili’s ally Mamuka Mamulashvili, who later created the volunteer battalion “Georgian Legion” fighting in the ATO zone. The second hero of the film, Badjalidze, introduces himself as a former employee of the Georgian National Guard and says that he got to Kyiv during the active phase of the Maidan using a fake passport in the name of David Gegechkoria.
Among other things, all three participants in the film claim that Saakashvili and Mamulashvili personally organized their arrival in Kyiv in January 2014, and Andrei Parubiy was responsible for the meeting in Kiev. According to them, upon arrival in Kyiv, their initial task was to help the protesters in violent clashes with law enforcement officers, and allegedly they received a cash advance for this. At the same time, the second part of the larger amount should have been paid to them after leaving Ukraine. The authors of the film also claim that they managed to get some copies of electronic tickets from Tbilisi to Kyiv, dated mid-January 2014, which indicate the names under which these film participants appeared during this period.
Regarding the executions on the Maidan in February 2014, all three provide a number of new details, which generally develop the version of the Italian journalist Mikalessin. Thus, they claim that they were part of a group of shooters, which at different times was concentrated both in the Ukraine Hotel and in the Conservatory building. In this group, according to them, there were also several citizens of Ukraine and the Baltic countries. Among the coordinators who allegedly transferred sniper weapons to their group, the Georgians name the same Pashinsky, Parubiy, as well as a certain person who spoke English named Christopher Bryan.
One of the film's characters also gives details of how these sniper teams fired shots in the vicinity of the Maidan on both sides of the conflict. Each shooter allegedly had an assistant who controlled the window, opening and closing it at the right moment, while the shooter himself fired several shots from the depths of the rooms of various buildings. Thanks to this, snipers from law enforcement special forces, who later appeared on the Maidan, allegedly could not quickly calculate the points of such shooting based on visual or sound signs.
Another participant in the film claims that after the Maidan he stayed in Ukraine and took part in armed clashes in Odessa on May 2, 2014. The authors of the film announced the second part of their investigation, in which they intend to tell some details of the Odessa events.
In the film, Pashinsky himself, in his interview with the Israelis, confirms that the weapons seized from the warehouses of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Western Ukraine on February 18-19, 2014, were then used on the Maidan. “Yes, indeed, on the evening of the 18th, when they were finishing us off here in Kyiv (the security forces - ed.), at that time in Western Ukraine the protesters seized several police departments where weapons were stored. And these weapons fell into the hands of the protesters, it’s true,” says Pashinsky. - What do you want? Of course, there were tens of thousands of people on the Maidan. Of course, I assume that some of them... Well, when someone close to you is killed, you have two lines of behavior - out of fear of hiding in a hole somewhere or looking into the eyes of your killer. We made eye contact."
In turn, Olga Bogomolets, in those days the chief doctor of the Maidan, in her interview with the Israelis, said that most of the fatal wounds of activists occurred as a result of professional sniper shooting - in the frontal lobes of the brain, in the heart, etc. Prosecutor Sergei Gorbatyuk, commenting in the film on the question of reasons why the authorities never investigated the Maidan case, replied: “I don’t know the detailed motivation... But what I can say based on the results of four years of investigation is that they are categorically not interested in assisting in the investigation. And why, motives - we can already build versions about this.”
Recall that earlier Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko denied that snipers hired by Saakashvili could work on the Maidan in 2014. On February 12, 2018, Saakashvili was detained in Kyiv and deported to Poland, which happened literally on the eve of his planned interrogation in the Svyatoshinsky District Court of Kyiv in the case of former Berkut soldiers.
In November 2017, the Italian “Canale 5”, part of the Mediaset S. pA media holding of former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, showed the film “Ukraine: Hidden Truths” by Italian war correspondent Gian Mikalessin. He met with three Georgian citizens K. Nergadze, A. Revazishvili and Zalogi Kvarateskelia, who claim that they are allegedly the executors of orders to execute both Maidan participants and Berkut employees.
