Famous French actress hopes for Russian vaccine
In France, the authorities have excluded culture from among national priorities.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports that actress Mylène Demongeau, known for the film trilogy “Fantômas” and the French film “The Three Musketeers,” said this in an interview with Izvestia, answering a question about her attitude to anti-Covid vaccination.
"It's not my problem. I don't need vaccination. After illness, antibodies protect me. As far as I know, the reliable Russian Sputnik V vaccine protects against different variants of the virus. I hope that in France they will begin to vaccinate with Sputnik as quickly as possible,” Demongeau said.
At the same time, she is against total quarantine.
“We need to treat the sick - we have very good doctors for this, and leave healthy people alone. There are regions in France that are practically free of Covid, but restrictions apply everywhere. A partial lockdown has just been announced in several regions, but in a week or two the government may come up with something new,” says the actress.
“I am outraged by the closure of cinemas, theaters and museums. We were deprived of a culture that the authorities excluded from the list of national priorities. That’s why I worry about my country,” Demongeau summed up.
