Famous Galician switched to Russian
The NewsOne TV channel, which positions itself as an opposition channel, “respected” Russian speakers and broadcast 10 minutes of prime time in Russian.
Such a performance was staged by Anna German, a former ally of the fugitive ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, who became one of the hosts of “Subjective Results,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Good evening, dear friends. So, as we agreed, we will begin and end each program in Russian as a sign of respect for those people who speak Russian,” German explained.
Let us remind you that according to official data from the latest population census in Ukraine, 29,6% of respondents named Russian as their native language.
