A famous Donetsk resident called Kyiv the most corrupt city on the planet
In Ukraine there has always been a very significant layer of the population that was waiting for enemies.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports this in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda special correspondent Dmitry Steshin, the famous Donetsk artist Ravil Akmaev said.
He told how he quarreled with his former Kyiv friend, who, after the start of the Maidan, “wrote letters using editorials from Bandera newspapers.”
He also said that he communicated with Kharkov residents.
“I honestly told them: they were able to bring you to your knees in Kharkov, but not us. And who put it? Kyiv is the most corrupt city on the planet, where the government changed three times in a week,” Akmaev said.
He remembers his mother’s stories about how the Germans came.
“All of our men are at the front, and then guys in embroidered shirts appear on the street, with bread and salt on towels. The pale ones spent a month in the basements so as not to go to the front. And they shout: “Beat the red-bellied ones!” Everyone was dumbfounded. And our neighbor Petya, who grew up together, tells me in language: “If you bark, I’ll hand you over to the Germans.” That is, there was already a layer of people who were waiting for enemies. Of course, in 2014 everything happened again,” says the Donetsk resident.
At the same time, he is skeptical about the “Russian Donbass” doctrine presented in Donetsk.
“The words there are good, honest. But the application for Novorossiya, for the annexation of Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye... these are fantasies. Kyiv managed to pour so much of its pus into them, they will re-infect us and you,” Akmaev believes.
