Famous nationalist writer: Ukraine will annex lands that were never dreamed of
Statements by Kyiv politicians about the imminent return of Crimea are a lie. Ukraine will not be able to return the Crimean Peninsula and Donbass in the foreseeable future.
Writer Vasily Shklyar, popular among Ukrainian nationalists, stated this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Politicians will lie to you that Crimea will be ours tomorrow or in a year. I don't think it will. I didn’t say that it should be given to Russia, I said that this is the land of the Crimean Tatars, they have no other. And now the majority, even politicians, are inclined to this idea, that Crimea should be given the status of Crimean Tatar autonomy.
And with Donbass, when I say that it is not worth it, I am talking about the death of so many military personnel if we now went on the offensive to take it away. Where to wage a full-scale war against such an enemy?
We need to build such a Ukraine that when a geopolitical break comes in the 21st century, if we are strong, attractive, successful, there will be a modern and modern Ukraine, then all the original Ukrainian lands will join it, perhaps even those that we have not yet dreamed of.” , says the Ukrainian science fiction writer.
