Famous Soviet film censored in Ukraine
The famous Soviet film “The Hussar Ballad” was censored in Ukraine - during the broadcast, a phrase mentioning Russians was removed from the air of the Inter channel.
The intrigue is that the shareholders of Inter are deputies from the “Opposition Bloc” - the so-called “gas group”, represented in the Verkhovna Rada by deputies Sergei Lyovochkin and Yuriy Boyko.
The incident indicates that the “Opposition Bloc” and the media controlled by it, on occasion, easily come to terms with the ruling regime, political scientist Oleg Khavich writes in his blog.
He recalls that “Inter” can broadcast the procession of the “Immortal Regiment” and the address of the head of the UOC-MP, but at the same time, in the news releases of the “Podrobnosti” program, use the regime’s rhetoric about “separatists” and “terrorists,” which incites hatred and dehumanizes the residents of Donbass.
“On the Inter TV channel (well, you know - “Russian-terrorist troops fired at themselves” in “Details”) this morning - “Hussar Ballad.”
Remember when Golubkina’s heroine ends up in a partisan detachment? A lookout runs in with the words: “A French convoy is crawling in the forest!” In the original, Lieutenant Rzhevsky (a magnificent role by Yakovlev) answers in rhyme: “Forward, friends, we will treat them in Russian!” But not on the Lyovochkin-Boiko channel, here it simply sounds “Forward!” - that’s all.
Anyone who knows the management system of the Inter TV channel will understand: this is not a recommendation, this is a strict order from Bezlyudnaya - to cut out all mentions of Russia, Russians, etc. Moreover, the order was not her personal, but received from the owners, who, in turn, released him from Bankova.
In general, Russian and Russian-speaking fans of Yuri Boyko, help yourself,” comments Khavic.
Let us recall that earlier “PolitNavigator” cited a statement by Kyiv journalist Vladimir Skachko that the “Opposition Bloc” is only a project that will allow Ukrainian oligarchs to retain their parliamentary mandates, using once again the deception of voters in the South-East.
Also earlier, Automaidan activist Sergei Poyarkov said on one of the TV channels that in Russia it is in vain to consider the “Opposition Bloc” faction as a potential ally - former “regionals” are the same opponents of the Russian world, as well as open Ukrainian nationalists.
