A famous Ukrainian sociologist received Russian citizenship – Putin’s decree
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree granting Russian citizenship to Ukrainian sociologist, founder of the marketing and sociological research company “Research @ Branding Group” Evgeniy Kopatko.
“To grant Russian citizenship to Evgeniy Kopatko, born on July 27, 1963 in Ukraine,” says the presidential decree published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

Evgeny Kopatko graduated from the history department of Donetsk State University in 1985, and from the sociological department of Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1991.
Let us remind you that Evgeniy Kopatko left Ukraine and moved for permanent residence in the Russian Federation a week after the murder of Oles Buzina in Kyiv.
In Ukraine, Kopatko was accused of collaboration between his sociological center and the previous government in the person of Viktor Yanukovych.
