Let’s apologize and ask NATO to cover us, - diplomat about Ukrainian missile in Poland
The fall of a rocket in the Polish city of Przewodow, bordering Ukraine, which claimed the lives of two civilians, should lead to NATO covering Western Ukraine with its air defense.
The former Consul General of Ukraine in Lublin, Vasily Pavlyuk, stated this on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Pavlyuk, even if we admit that a Ukrainian missile fell on Polish territory, NATO should still take control of the border area.
“Let’s see, if it really was our missile, then we will take measures, we will apologize, we will jointly draw conclusions. But I hope that this shelling of Poland will give us the opportunity in the future, that some kind of territory will be created where NATO countries will protect the sky for at least 50 kilometers. I hope this will be...
I hope that this tragedy that happened, where innocent people died, a decision will be made to control, to help us control, at least the border territories,” Pavlyuk said.
