By 2020, gas prices in Ukraine will rise by 150%
In the next year and a half, Ukrainians need to prepare for a sharp jump in gas prices.
This opinion was expressed on the Newsone channel by economic and political expert Vsevolod Stepanyuk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As for whether Ukraine will receive the tranche or not, the IMF put forward the same conditions - an increase in the price of gas to the European level, plus the permanent representative of the IMF gave an interview that they seemed to have agreed that everything would be fulfilled to the market price, and This means that gas prices for the population will approximately double. It now needs to be raised by about 70%, and given that gas prices are constantly rising, this will be somewhere else doubled by 2020, and this is not so far away, there is a year and a half left,” said He.
