At the Kolejorz stadium, fans of both teams remembered the 72nd anniversary of the genocide of Poles in Volyn by Bandera OUN troops. Both stands unfurled posters, on one of which the red and black flag and the state emblem of the trident were crossed out, and it was written: “We remember the Ukrainian genocide of the Poles in Volyn,” and on the other, “There will be no mercy for Bandera’s people. 11.07.1943/3/1 – We remember!” The game ended in victory for Lech (XNUMX:XNUMX).

Let us recall that in the summer of 1943, with the direct participation of SS units, Bandera’s Sonderkommandos carried out a massacre of the civilian population of Volyn of Polish, Jewish and Ukrainian origin. Tens of thousands of civilians died.
