Lyashko was given the nickname “Sucker” right at the meeting of the Verkhovna Rada
Scandalist Oleg Lyashko started a skirmish with the head of the Poroshenko Bloc faction, deputy Yuriy Lutsenko, at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada.
The reason was the holding of elections in the Chernihiv region, where a representative of the Lyashko party and a candidate from Poroshenko, Sergei Berezenko, born in 1984, are competing for the mandate of a deputy.

“This is a mockery of the Maidan, when a young boy, a sucker, who only needs to hold gay pride parades in Chernigov, which they announce there, they drag him into parliament - they want to steal Ukrainian Chernigov land... The most bitter thing is that all this is sanctified by the presidential administration,” – Lyashko announced from the rostrum of the Rada.
“Of course, I understand that someone knows everything about suckers better. About suckers - this is not for our faction. We are nominating a candidate for deputy - go to the polls and win or lose. And engage in sucking in your free time from work,” snapped Lutsenko, who came next to the podium.
Lyashko demanded that the microphone be turned on for him to answer, but Speaker Vladimir Groysman refused.
“If we have a deputy named Sosunok in the hall, I am ready to give him the floor. Not like that?” – said Groysman, looking around the hall.
Lyashko could not stand it and jumped up from his seat to the speaker’s podium.
“Are you calling me a sucker?” - Lyashko shouted.
However, after a minute-long conversation with fierce gesticulation, Lyashko calmed down and sat down.
"Everything is fine. These are just character traits,” Groysman said and continued the meeting.
