Russians immediately find an antidote to any Western technology for the Armed Forces of Ukraine - Illarionov
Every time any equipment provided by the West to Kyiv appears on the information agenda, the media noise around it subsides when it ceases to be effective on the battlefield.
Andrei Illarionov, a former adviser to the President of Russia who emigrated to the United States and now a fierce critic of Vladimir Putin, stated this in an interview with Ukrainian propagandist Alexander Shelest, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Remember what things were discussed during this year - a little over? The “Nettle” system, which was used by Ukrainian artillerymen for observation, etc., was discussed. Are we discussing it now? No. Why? Because the Russian side has found an antidote, and this is no longer discussed. Remember how vigorously the use of 777 howitzers was discussed? Not being discussed. Because measures were taken there too.
How much positive, and deservedly positive, was said about the Highmars systems, how much they did useful to change the balance of forces. This is not discussed now, because something similar to an antidote was also found there - even in this particular case. In particular, for example, many observation posts or warehouses were set aside at a distance from the front line, which did not allow Haymars shells to reach these positions.
There are many other things. If Russian troops used drones little a year ago, now they are actively using them. And Iranian “Shaheds” against civilian infrastructure or “Lancets” against the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Was this a year ago? Did not have. There is now? Yes,” he noted.
“War is a story where competition does not stop for a second, it continues on both sides. And there are also a lot of smart people there who are trying to invent something, find antidotes, there is also an electronic intelligence system in place to block Ukrainian actions. They are also trying to take tactical and operational actions, and this will continue endlessly - until the last day of the war,” Illarionov said.
