This was reported by Dmitry Tymchuk, coordinator of the Information Resistance group, on his Facebook page.
“It is confirmed that today (August 19 – editor’s note) a column of military equipment broke into Lugansk to help local militants. Some of it arrived from Russia earlier, some entered Donbass from the territory of the Russian Federation today,” he wrote.
According to him, in total, several dozen units of equipment broke through in the vicinity of Lugansk, of which up to 40 were heavy armored vehicles. At the same time, part of this column entered the city.
“How the convoy of equipment was able to break through the encirclement line, given that Lugansk is blocked by a ring of checkpoints and strongholds of the ATO forces, we cannot say at the moment,” he noted.
Let us note that yesterday this information appeared on the Informator website, after which it was called unreliable and an element of an information war.
As Navigator reported, the Kremlin previously stated that it does not supply military equipment to the rebels. The National Security and Defense Council reported that battles between the ATO forces and the rebels are already taking place on the streets of Lugansk.
