Klitschko is related to the first deaths at Euromaidan, - Yanukovych lawyer
Kyiv, February 18 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Vitali Klitschko’s people were responsible for the first deaths of Euromaidan activists in Kyiv, Andrei Portnov, curator of the legal block during the presidency of Viktor Yanukovych, said today on his social network page.
Portnov wrote about this on his page on the social network, commenting on the day of remembrance of the “heavenly hundred” celebrated today in Ukraine.

“Today, the lawyer for the victims of the January-February 2014 activists on the Maidan said that the investigative authorities have made progress in the investigation of the murders of activists Mikhail Zhiznevsky and Sergei Nigoyan.
Let me remind you that a year ago law enforcement agencies also made progress in the investigation of this tragedy and established the involvement of persons associated with Vitali Klitschko in this crime.
This was evidenced by numerous operational and technical data from law enforcement units.
One of the conditions of the negotiation process at the meetings of the working group to resolve the political crisis was Vitali Klitschko’s obligation to give the opportunity to interrogate these people.
But the mandate of the people's deputy and personal interest in intensifying mass unrest did not allow establishing the truth in this matter.
I hope that Ukrainian law enforcement agencies will restore a detailed chronology of events related to the death of the first Maidan activists.
But most likely, the new Ukrainian authorities will have to bring to justice those responsible for these tragedies, since this government is living out the last months of its existence,” Portnov wrote.
