The Minister of Industrial Policy of the Republic, Andrei Skrynnik, announced this at a government meeting.
According to him, during an inspection of city facilities, entrepreneurs involved in illegal trade said that last night representatives of the municipal government warned them about the inspection and asked them not to go to work.
“People said that there were requests from the administration not to go out today and not engage in illegal trade due to the fact that there will be a visiting meeting of the Council of Ministers. But, fortunately, these requests had no effect and today we saw that illegal trade, in a truncated version, is still present,” the minister said.
