Five more states are joining the Russian operation in Aleppo
A large-scale humanitarian operation in the area of the Syrian city of Aleppo, initiated by Russia, was supported by Armenia and Belarus, five more countries are planning to join, said Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Anatoly Antonov, reports Interfax.

“We have recently initiated a large-scale humanitarian operation in the Syrian Aleppo area. We appealed to the international community and to the defense departments of leading countries to join the Russian initiative. We were supported by Belarus and Armenia, which have already provided serious assistance to the Syrians,” Antonov said, speaking at the seventh Xiangshan Security Forum in Beijing on Tuesday.
“According to him, China, Azerbaijan, Serbia, India, and Kazakhstan also plan to send their humanitarian supplies to Syria,” the agency clarifies.
