Russian TV employees in Turkey were broken into with threats
The employees of the Russian TV channel RT, Turkish citizens living in Ankara, were broken into by unknown people with threats, said the head of the television studio, Margarita Simonyan.
“Some ghouls have now burst into the home (!) of three of our employees in Ankara, threatening and shouting that they are traitors to the Motherland because they work for the Russians. Let's see how the police behave.
And another question is how these ghouls became aware of the home addresses of our not-so-public employees,” Simonyan said in her blog.
Today in Ankara, a rally “Turkey, support the voice of Crimea” was held in the central Ulus Square, the Mejlis agency QHA reported. The action was officially dedicated to the sixth anniversary of the loss of Kyiv’s control over Crimea, but the organizers also took advantage of the death of Turkish soldiers in the Syrian province of Idlib.
The crowd chanted “Russia is a killer!” Get out of Crimea!”, and also unfurled banners with the inscriptions “Crimean Tatars will never surrender”, “Putin, get the hell out of Crimea”, etc.
Thank you!
