Five more EU countries will join in the persecution of Russian diplomats
Following Britain, France, Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are planning to expel Russian diplomats, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by The Guardian.
It is reported that yesterday at the EU summit in Brussels, the bloc's leaders discussed responses to the poisoning of double agent Skripal. EU leaders agreed with Britain's view that Russian authorities were allegedly involved in the poisoning.
“Great Britain, Germany and France have confirmed that there is no other plausible explanation other than that Russia is responsible for the poisoning of Skripal,” the publication notes, emphasizing that the leaders of these countries agreed to act jointly against the Russian Federation.
It is also reported that Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite and Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis are allowing the expulsion of Russian diplomats. In addition, before the summit in Brussels, Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras expressed solidarity with Britain, but called for an objective investigation into Skripal’s poisoning.
