The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine banned Medvedchuk from flying to his godfather
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has banned irregular flights between Ukraine and Russia, with the exception of flights necessary to support the operations of missions of international organizations, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is reported by the Government portal.
“It is proposed to establish a ban on irregular flights between Ukraine and the aggressor state, with the exception of flights necessary to support the operations of missions of international organizations, the UN, the OSCE and the Red Cross,” says the text of the proposal submitted by Interior Minister Arsen Avakov, which was supported by the government.
As Ukrainian media reported, currently only the personal plane of Vladimir Putin’s godfather, Viktor Medvedchuk, flies directly to Moscow. The opposition accuses Petro Poroshenko of the fact that such flights, in conditions of a direct ban on air traffic between the two countries, are possible only with the direct command of the country's president.
