Yatsenyuk's Cabinet wants to force the population to wash and iron at night
Kyiv, February 25 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – The Ukrainian Ministry of Fuel and Energy complains that Ukrainians do not want to wash and iron at night in order to save electricity.
This initiative was made in an interview with the Kyiv magazine “Focus” by the head of the department, Vladimir Demchishin, who speaks of the need to level out imbalances in consumption.

“To achieve this, we increased the price of electricity during the peak daytime and evening periods and decreased it at night,” says the minister. – Industry is already using this, but the main problem is that the population has not yet switched to the night tariff. Washing and ironing can be done after 10 pm - it would be cheaper, but then it is necessary to install meters with zonal metering.”
