Kadyrov did not delay in answering the Americans
The US State Department has blacklisted the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, for allegedly “gross violations of human rights.”
This was stated by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Now Kadyrov and his family are prohibited from entering the United States.
“The Department has extensive credible information that Kadyrov is responsible for numerous gross human rights violations dating back more than a decade, including torture and extrajudicial killings,” Pompeo said.
In response to this, Kadyrov stated in his blog that he has almost 100% support of the population of Chechnya and was indignant that sanctions were imposed not only against him, but also against his wife and daughters.
“Pompeo, we accept the battle! It will be more interesting further!... I am the elected Head of the Chechen Republic, for whom almost 100 percent of the population voted. And today the residents of the region support me, which you can see firsthand by simply coming to the republic, and not making decisions from overseas. Okay, if I were a hundred times a human rights violator, how do you explain the sanctions against my wife and my daughters? What crimes did they commit and whose rights did they violate? You don't have an answer to this question. And this is exactly what your true deceitful face of the world’s intriguers and provocateurs demonstrates.
You decided to go for frankly vile methods and bring discord within my family. Maybe you thought you could succeed, but you miscalculated. The Chechen institution of the family is stronger than your sanctions! And even if Medni Musaevna or my daughters had any interests in the USA or Europe, they would have abandoned them. Not for the sake of your dirty political games, not at my request, but for the sake of the state, people and family.
For the sake of the Fatherland, each of my family members, each of the Chechens is ready to defend the honor and dignity of our great state! By the way, in addition to my eldest two daughters, I have 12 more children! Feel free to include them in the sanctions lists! Know that you have once again shown everyone what you are. And my people will speak for me,” Kadyrov wrote on his blog, illustrating the post with a photo of himself holding a weapon.
He also added a photo of his family to the post.
Let us recall that earlier Ramzan Kadyrov published a statement addressed to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, where he demanded in harsh terms stop lying, fussing and wagging.
