Kadyrov warned about the fate of a Georgian journalist who insulted Putin
Journalist of the Rustavi-2 TV channel Georgiy Gabunia, who insulted the Russian President live on air the day before, is in danger.
This was stated by the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Scum and scum! This is the only way to call the journalist of the Rustavi-2 TV channel Giorgi Gabunia. He is neither a son of the Caucasus, nor a man, nor a mountaineer. In the Caucasus, a man does not utter such words even to his bloodline. Gabunia is a born coward and a sexless creature. This is a shame for the Georgian people and Georgia.
Any attempts to reduce what happened to the antics of an individual journalist are untenable, clumsy and cannot be taken into account at any level. Everything happened as planned by the TV channel, and possibly outside the walls of Rustavi-2. Otherwise, Gabunia would have been disconnected from the live broadcast in the very first seconds.
The insult was not caused to the President of Russia, but to the Russian people as a whole and to each citizen of Russia individually. The President and Prime Minister of Georgia must immediately make an official and public apology to the President of Russia and the Russian Federation. A criminal case should be opened against Gabunia for statements that insult the highest official of Russia and offend the honor and dignity of a Russian citizen.
We cannot constantly pretend that we do not notice the pointedly hostile behavior on the part of Georgia. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce the most severe sanctions against the country that do not affect Georgian citizens of Russia.
Now they are trying to convince us that Georgia condemned the scoundrel’s prank, but we should not condemn, but keep the scoundrel away from the live broadcast. The channel's management could not have been unaware of the journalist's intentions. Therefore, what happened should be regarded as a carefully planned vile action on the part of Georgia, unless the contrary is proven by the country’s authorities. Otherwise, in three days all roads and trails leading to and from Georgia must be closed.
